Sharing Ideas
One of the most powerful elements of a collaborative is the opportunity for participants to actively share knowlege and experiences with their peers. They are able to hear one another's ideas and generate new ideas that will translate to improvements in their own unique working environment. Collaboration between practices in the APCC Program has enhanced their understanding of the overall role in the delivery of primary care services to their communities, and allowed for the spread of ideas to make 'the possible' become 'the usual'.

Some of these stories have been chosen to become interactive Virtual Tabletops where visitors to the site can ask questions and offer comment. The Case Studies pages offer more detailed stories of improvements within APCC practices and the bi-monthly APCC Newsletter will keep readers up to date with all the goings-on within the Program.
The collaborative process of the APCC Program has been immeasurably enhanced by the enthusiasm of the GPs, practice nurses, practice managers, and reception staff who have shared their skills, knowlege, ideas and experiences with fellow participants.
